We are looking for an experienced full-time PE Test Engineer to join, ASAP, UBIK’s team in Tallinn.

Founded in 2011, our vision is a world powered by a sustainable energy economy that would stop the global warming and save the planet. Our mission is to empower people on the usage of renewable energy by offering smart, simple and affordable technologies.

We are currently developing a new smart energy conversion (DC/DC and DC/AC) solution for solar energy with features and applications not available on the market today: the OptiVerter® Technology.

Our OptiVerter® Technology allows the highest energy harvest from solar panels and offer the most efficient and affordable energy conversion solution for residential and small to medium commercial solar installations.

In our future we see storage, fuel cell and wind turbine inverters… Are you the PE Test Engineer that will build them all?

If you are up to the challenge, you would be UBIK’s master of:


  • Preparing the test plan and its tracking methodology;

  • Testing prototypes,

  • Conducting and documenting the prototype tests,

  • Conducting and documenting the production tests.

Sounds interesting? You are who we're looking for if you have:


  • At least 1 year of relevant experience with industrial background,

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical or electronic engineering,

  • Experience using electrical modelling software (PSIM, Multisim, LT Spice, etc.),

  • Embedded programming experience (Assembler, C or C++ languages),

  • Specialization on device software development and testing,

  • Knowledge about documenting,

  • Fast learning capability; you will be mentored by a renowned Power Electronics Specialist!

  • Analytical and creative technical thinking, productive and proactive, with innovation-driven attitude,

  • Good command of English language, both written and verbal. Speaking any additional language is an advantage,

  • Startup personality, enjoying being part of a team.


And of course, you’ll be extra-liked if you have:


  • Experience with renewable energy industry, mainly solar photovoltaics,

  • Experience using electrical CAD software (Eagle, Altium, etc.),

  • Specialization in information technology engineering (technical college/university level),

  • Designing & testing PCB layouts,

  • Built prototypes,

  • Coded their functionalities,

  • Willingness to perform punctual tasks outside Estonia (mostly in Europe)
