BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

UBIK Solutions is an agile technology company developing innovative Module Level Power Electronics and energy management solutions for sustainable energy ecosystems.

We address innovation in green, sustainable energy supply to provide reliable and clean energy sources and to improve the quality of life on this planet. DC power system is a key to this innovation and therefore we are focusing an innovative conversion solution (DC/DC and DC/AC) for PV panels and battery storage applications for DC microgrids to reach complete sustainability and efficiency and make full Energy Transition happen.

Moving closer to market, we are looking for an enthusiastic and performance-oriented Business Development Manager to scout the market and find business opportunities, cooperate with market participants, and close the deals to increase the business volumes.

If you are up to the challenge, you would be UBIK’s master of:

 

  • Research and identify business opportunities and services in DC microgrids market segment - including new markets, partnerships, trends, product or service offerings, but also new ways to reach existing market

  • Conduct market analyzes, identify customers, and analyze their needs

  • Define the target customers and their key initiatives, generate leads, and develop relationships

  • Develop and improve the business model and services for sales growth of HW related technologies to turn into Hardware as a Service and Energy as a Service business models

  • Think strategically, help to design the respective processes, and engage sales and marketing team

  • Supporting and participating in sales activities, meet the customers and lead marketing activities

  • Directing, mentoring, and leading the development activities of service units     

  • Create sales pipeline and plan sales and marketing campaigns and negotiate pricings

  • Knowledge of general business processes

  • Proficiency writing and speaking in Estonian and English

  • Work experience in sales and business development

  • People's leadership and organization skills

  • Communication and negotiation skills

  • Planning and analysis skills

  • Sense of judgment and decision-making ability, loyalty

 

In addition, it would be useful to have:

 

  • Experience with renewable energy industry (mainly solar) and hardware electronics related industries

  • Willingness to perform tasks outside Estonia (mostly in EU region)
